1. Introduction
These Terms of Use (the Terms) govern access to and use of the Working.Experts for Pharmacy website, mobile applications, and related services, features, content, communications, tools, marketplaces, directories, training areas, recruitment tools, and paid products we make available from time to time (together, the Platform).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, pharmacy, agency, partnership, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. In that case, references to you also include that organisation where the context requires.

3. Eligibility and account registration
You may use the Platform only if:
- you are at least 18 years old
- you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
- you are not prohibited by applicable law from using the Platform
- any information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
You agree to keep your login credentials secure, update your account promptly if your details change, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.
4. Nature of the Platform
Working.Experts for Pharmacy is a professional platform for the pharmacy sector. Depending on the services in use, the Platform may allow users to:
- create professional profiles
- publish, view, or respond to jobs and locum shifts
- search for candidates, professionals, suppliers, or business partners
- access learning, training, CPD, events, or knowledge resources
- exchange messages and professional communications
- list services, products, properties, or commercial opportunities
- advertise products, services, or opportunities
- purchase paid features, subscriptions, listings, or promotional services
Unless we expressly state otherwise, we act as a platform provider only. We are not a party to any employment, locum, contractor, supplier, property, commercial, or training arrangement entered into between users through or following use of the Platform.
5. No professional, legal, employment, or clinical advice
Content on the Platform is provided for general information and professional networking purposes only. It is not legal advice, regulatory advice, employment advice, financial advice, tax advice, or clinical advice, and must not be relied on as such.
6. Profiles, credentials, and information accuracy
You must ensure that all information you submit or display on the Platform is accurate, not misleading, and kept reasonably up to date.
You must not falsely claim or imply:
- registration with the GPhC or any other professional or regulatory body
- independent prescriber status or other regulated competencies
- endorsement, approval, affiliation, or partnership that does not exist
- availability for work, supply, or services where this is not genuine
- that information has been verified by us where this is not clearly indicated by the Platform
7. Verification
We may offer identity, credential, employer, business, listing, or other verification checks. Unless expressly stated otherwise, any verification status shown on the Platform indicates only that we have completed the checks described in our Verification Policy at the time they were carried out.
Verification is not a guarantee of identity, competence, legality, quality, suitability, solvency, regulatory compliance, or ongoing status. Users remain responsible for carrying out their own checks and due diligence.
8. User content
You retain ownership of content you upload, submit, post, publish, transmit, store, or otherwise make available through the Platform, including profile information, text, images, logos, documents, job posts, listings, messages, reviews, comments, and other material (User Content).
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, format, publish, display, distribute, communicate, and otherwise use your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, securing, and administering the Platform and related services.
You represent and warrant that you own the User Content or have all necessary rights, licences, consents, and permissions to provide it to us and permit its use under these Terms.
9. Community standards and acceptable use
You must use the Platform in a lawful, professional, and responsible manner.
You must not:
- break any law or regulation
- use false identities or misrepresent yourself or your organisation
- harass, abuse, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against others
- post defamatory, obscene, hateful, violent, or unlawful material
- share false, deceptive, or misleading information
- impersonate another person or organisation
- upload malware, spyware, or harmful code
- scrape, crawl, copy, harvest, or extract Platform data by automated means except as expressly authorised by us
- interfere with, disrupt, test, or probe the security or performance of the Platform without authorisation
- use the Platform to send spam, chain messages, or unauthorised marketing
- collect or use personal data from the Platform except as permitted by these Terms, the applicable product terms, and applicable law
- post roles, shifts, advertisements, or listings that are deceptive, unlawful, discriminatory, or not genuine
10. Jobs, locum shifts, and listings
Where you post or interact with jobs, locum shifts, supplier listings, commercial listings, or similar opportunities, you are solely responsible for:
- the accuracy, legality, completeness, and currency of the information you provide
- ensuring you have authority to publish the listing
- complying with applicable employment, equality, consumer, advertising, professional, and regulatory laws
- carrying out appropriate right-to-work, registration, insurance, and safeguarding checks where relevant
- handling applications, candidate data, responses, and communications lawfully and fairly
We may review, reject, suspend, edit, limit, de-prioritise, or remove any listing or related content where we reasonably believe it breaches our terms, policies, legal obligations, or quality standards.
11. Messaging and communications
The Platform may include messaging, contact, and communication tools. You must use these responsibly and only for legitimate professional purposes.
We may apply limits, filters, monitoring, review, blocking, or moderation to communications for security, safety, compliance, quality control, fraud prevention, and service administration.
12. Paid services
Some parts of the Platform may be available only on a paid basis, including subscriptions, promoted listings, advertising, premium search, employer tools, supplier packages, learning products, and other paid services.
Where you purchase a paid service, the applicable Paid Services Terms, order form, plan terms, or product-specific terms will also apply.
13. Intellectual property rights in the Platform
We and our licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Platform, excluding User Content. This includes rights in the software, databases, design, layout, branding, logos, text, graphics, features, compilations, and underlying materials made available by us.
Except as allowed by law or expressly permitted by us in writing, you must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform.
14. Third-party content and links
The Platform may include links to third-party websites, services, software, content, vacancies, products, or providers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, services, availability, terms, or privacy practices.
15. Moderation, investigations, and enforcement
We may, with or without notice where reasonably necessary, monitor use of the Platform, investigate suspected breaches, request information from you, remove or restrict content, suspend or terminate access, and take other steps we reasonably consider necessary to protect users, the Platform, third parties, or our legal position.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or access immediately where we reasonably believe:
- you have breached these Terms or any related policy
- information you provided is inaccurate or misleading
- your use of the Platform creates legal, regulatory, security, reputational, or operational risk
- this is necessary to investigate suspected misconduct or protect others
- we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority
17. Service availability and changes
We do not guarantee that the Platform or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with your device, systems, or software.
18. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an as is and as available basis.
Except as expressly set out in these Terms, we do not make any representation, warranty, or guarantee that the Platform will meet your requirements or that any user, applicant, candidate, employer, recruiter, supplier, or advertiser is genuine, suitable, qualified, available, solvent, or compliant.
19. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data.
Where you use the Platform in the course of business, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform and these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and

20. Indemnity for business users
If you use the Platform for business purposes or on behalf of an organisation, you agree to indemnify us against losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from or connected with your User Content, your listings, your breach of these Terms, your use of personal data obtained through the Platform, or claims brought by third parties arising out of your acts or omissions.

22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. The updated version will take effect from the date stated at the top of the Terms.
23. General
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
We may assign, transfer, subcontract, or otherwise deal with our rights and obligations under these Terms. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
24. Governing law and jurisdiction
If you are acting as a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, these Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your part of the United Kingdom.
If you are using the Platform in the course of business, or on behalf of an organisation, these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
