Employers booking a shift make their decision in under thirty seconds. They scan four things: are you verified, are you available, can you do the services they need, and have other people worked with you.
The four things employers look at
1. Verified credentials. GPhC certificate, indemnity, right to work, DBS. A green badge next to each removes friction. An expired one is a red flag.
2. Availability. Set working patterns, mark off blocked dates, and turn on "open to shifts" when you actually have capacity. Employers filter on these before they see your profile.
3. Services you are confident with. Tick the services on your profile, attach the relevant PGD or sign-off, and an employer staffing a Pharmacy First branch will find you immediately.
4. Social proof. Endorsements from past employers and the "worked with N employers" badge tell a hiring manager you are a reliable choice. Both are visible on your public profile.
A short, honest profile summary beats a long one
Two or three sentences in your own voice: years registered, the kind of pharmacy you enjoy working in, the services you do well. Avoid jargon. Avoid claiming things you cannot back up.

The "Preview public" link on your profile shows your card exactly as a hiring manager will see it. Use it after any change to make sure the impression matches what you intended.
